After spending 5 years on the financial markets in London, Jan joined Wrox Press where he organised its first International ASP Developer conference where Mark Anders presented a preview of what is now ASP.NET. As publisher, his focus was always to develop new products that would help developers around the world become better coders and understand new technologies. Since leaving Wrox he has established himself as a business consultant, but has kept a close eye on the development of online communities and how they can be used to share in wealth creation.
